You’ve made a fantastic decision to join The Heritage Group family. Please be sure to make your benefits selections online within 31 days of your hire date. Watch for tasks assigned to you from Workday to guide you through your benefit enrollment.

Workday is a simple, easy-to-use platform for enrolling in benefits. Log in to Workday to get started. - Register and Manage Your Retirement Account with Empower
You will receive a welcome letter and email from Empower Retirement, our 401(k) plan administrator, asking you to register your account and designate your beneficiaries. Unless you opt out, you are automatically enrolled in the 401(k) plan with a 6% pre-tax contribution.

What's Next?
- Medical, Dental, and Vision card
You will receive an ID card from Anthem if you enrolled in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage. This bundled card eliminates the need for separate cards for each benefit. - Health Savings Account (HSA)
If you elect an HSA, it will be opened on your behalf by Optum Bank. To protect your account against cyber security threats, you are strongly advised to register your account with Optum Bank. Follow the instructions under “How Can I Protect My HSA”.
To change your HSA contribution amount, please send an email to Employee Hub detailing your HSA contribution change request.
Monitor your HSA contributions this year to ensure you do not exceed the annual IRS maximums, considering any contributions made with or by your former employer. - 401(k)
Monitor your 401(k) contributions this year to ensure you do not exceed the annual IRS maximums, considering any contributions made with your former employer. To change your 401(k) contribution amount, contact Empower. - Life Events
A qualifying life event is a personal change in status which may allow you to change your benefit elections within a specified period of time. If you experience a life event and need to update your benefits, return to the Benefits Enrollment page and choose “I had a Life Event”.
